I really can’t add anything to this meme. It conveys what many of us have been thinking and saying for years. Of course, if your an athiest like me, you understand that we need only to look in a mirror to pass any type of judgement.
tip of the tin foil hat to Being Liberal for sharing.
All in all, it was a great year. Thank you everyone for supporting my blog!

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 45,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 17 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, and many of my blogging buddies have been asking about me. I’m doing ok. I’m busy as hell, but for the most part, I’m doing alright.
The last couple of months have been a whirlwind; there has been some major restructuring at work that has kept me pretty busy. In addition, my school workload has gotten significantly heavier. Between work and school, the time or desire to read and write blogs has pretty much been zero. I haven’t even been keeping up on current events; is Herman Cain still a Koch sucking, arrogant, prejudiced, homophobic, misogynist asshole?
Any way, don’t worry; I’m still around, and I’m starting to feel the itch to blog again. Hopefully, I’ll get back to writing daily, and interacting in all the awesome blogs that my WordPress friends are working on. In the meantime, if ya’ll wouldn’t mind catching me up on current affairs in the comments section, I would appreciate it
My thanks to all my friends who have been checking on me!
Ta for now!
Every Tuesday morning, I will open up the floor to suggestions for a topic that you would like me to talk about. Submit your suggestion in the comments section after my Tuesday morning prompt post. I pick one of the topics submitted, and deliver a minimum 300 word post no later than Friday, with all the Tin Foil trimmings.
Here’s the criteria: no topic is taboo, however there are no guarantees how I treat the topic. I will research and form my own opinion, and write about it in my own special way Please be as specific as you can with the topic, if you submit something broad like “religion” for example, I just may go down a rabbit hole that you would not expect.
I will announce the winning topic no later than Wednesday night. The person who suggests the winning topic for the week will get full credit in the post featuring the topic . If you’re a blogger, I will make sure I include your blog site info. Plus the winner will receive total consciousness, so there is that.
The major events of the week were put on hold for me today in crippling fashion. When I arrived to work this morning, I was told that a co-worker and good friend to me and my partner had died in the middle of the night. I sobbed like a baby at my desk.
I won’t go into how he died, or even name our friend. That’s information that only his family is entitled to give.
When I first started my new job almost 5 years ago, it was he who took the time to babysit me, and show me the ropes. At first, I was lost without him until I learned my way around.
In the years since, his family and mine became good friends, we would see each other socially from time to time, as well as help each other out when help was needed.
He made me laugh, and he had my back, and now he’s gone. My wife and I are very saddened today, but we feel even worse for the wonderful family he left behind. Rest assured, when they need us, we’ll have their back. I would be very grateful if you kept them in your thoughts and prayers tonight.
RIP my friend, we miss you already. Wherever you are, I hope there’s cold beer and NASCAR.

It’s barely half way through March, and my bizarre little blog has passed 1000 views for the month. In the 3 months that I have been on WordPress, the views of my posts have dramatically increased from month to month. I can’t thank you enough for continuing to visit my site, as well as contributing with your comments.
I would also like to take a moment to thank the other bloggers in the WordPress community who have given me such a warm welcome, and supported me by linking to my blog and interacting with me. I would further ask my readers to take some time and check out my favorite bloggers, which can be found on my blog roll.
I also want to thank my partner who has her own blog, Carving Out a Voice, for steering me to WordPress and showing me the ropes. She is my biggest fan as I am hers. She’s also my muse and often times editor
I promise that I will continue to grow as a writer and half assed pundit, trying to entertain and inform while voicing my opinion. Thank you all so much for your support!
